Tehran is willing to reinitiate atomic negotiations with Washington as long as it is handled with "dignity" and "respect", Tehran's top diplomat has stated.

The Iranian diplomat stated solely negotiations was effective, and revealed new appeals had originated from mediators to restart discussions with the US government. He said Iran did not have undeclared nuclear sites, and Iran was not yet able to authorize the global atomic watchdog to visit bombed nuclear sites for protective measures.

Walking a Difficult Route

The foreign minister is walking a challenging route since Iran aims to avoid be seen to be proceeding from a situation of disadvantage, and he consistently maintained that Iran had emerged more powerful in military terms and mentally from the coordinated strike on its atomic facilities in June.

He was addressing at a defense forum in Tehran where he restated that Iran had "a fundamental entitlement to process nuclear material domestically that it will perpetually retain" – the main reason of the deadlock in the previous talks.

Previous Talks Suddenly Ended

The earlier sessions of discussions between the US and Iran were ended suddenly and bitter conclusion on 12 June when Israel, with American backing, targeted Iran's enrichment centers in a 12-day war that concluded with the American leader asserting the facilities had been destroyed. Following this, European countries exercised their privilege to restore UN-wide sanctions, but Iran maintains they have not had a significant effect.

Perfect Agreement Offered

Tehran representatives stated they felt they had achieved a "perfect agreement" to the nuclear fuel concern in earlier negotiations, when it was agreed an local partnership with American involvement could process nuclear material. Each party would have been able to assert triumph since domestic enrichment would have remained and the US could be assured that Iran's enrichment initiative was solely for peaceful purposes.

It had not been decided in the negotiations that US nuclear scientists could work on Iranian soil, but that was a logical implication of the partnership suggestion. Present Status

Diplomatic Stance

In his speech to the forum, intended to portray the US as a dominant force that abuses the notion of global regulations, the foreign minister stated the fortnight-long engagement revealed the conflict could not be resolved by armed force. He said the attacks commenced with a Washington's ultimatum for an total Iran submission and concluded with an unconditional call for a halt to hostilities.

Iran is certain the initial Israeli attacks were mounted with complete American awareness and collaboration, making trust hard to restore.

Dialogue Continues the Final Resolution

The foreign minister declared: "Tehran was not the one that had deserted negotiations; it was America and the western countries that had always attempted to dictate their desires during the negotiations. Diplomacy can still be alive and stays the final solution to resolve conflicts, but its requirements, regulations and principles must be respected."

Repair and Rebuilding

In what is described by Iran's diplomats as the conflict of repair and rebuilding, Araghchi stated he was assured Iran's security strengths "have significantly improved than preceding 13 or 14 June of this year. The citizens of Tehran have grown stronger, more united, and more backing of the government and the nation in the wake of this invasion."
