Substantial Hailstones and Broad Damage

Homeowners reported giant hailstones measuring up to 7 centimeters in particular locations. Weather authorities confirmed that different parts across the state had been impacted by substantial ice precipitation.

Moist weather were predicted to continue along significant areas of eastern Queensland this next several days as a low-pressure trough continued to pull in damp air against the coast.

The following day was predicted as the heaviest precipitation period, with persistent thunderstorm potential expected across various areas of both regions.
