Amazing $30 Cartography Humble Bundle Is a Virtual Tabletop Game Master's Fantasy
Following a brief run back in April, the Map Making Mega Bundle is back with an encore available through early December. Hailed as an extensive collection of mapping tools created by ProFantasy Software throughout their history, the complete package is valued at more than thirteen hundred dollars. Additionally, there exist three different bundles available here.
Primary Feature
The big draw is certainly a lifetime license to the CC3+ software, a professional-grade mapping application which enables users to create everything from fantasy overworld maps, smaller regional maps, city maps, and most notably, dungeon and tabletop battle maps.
A regional fantasy map created using Campaign Cartographer 3+.
Package Levels
Basic Package
The most affordable option, starting at just one dollar, features merely four of the 39 total items: Symbol Set 1: Fantasy Overland, Monster Token Pack 1, Castle Source Maps, Urban Source Maps. This package suits existing CC3+ users, but it does offer new fantasy symbol styles for overworld maps, more than 750 monster tokens compatible with online gaming platforms, more than two dozen aerial castle designs including hundreds of map markers, eight fully mapped cities, and more than 70 urban floorplans.
Mid-Range Option
The eight-item bundle starting at fifteen dollars is where things get more interesting by adding in permanent CC3+ access, the first Annual volume, Tome of Ultimate Mapping, and Symbol Set 6: Isometric Cities. Cartographer's Annual is the yearly bundle from the company's ongoing subscription program featuring a variety CC3+ add-ons like map collections and various other tools. Isometric Cities lets you present urban areas in 3D perspective using angled views from multiple angles. And the Tome of Ultimate Mapping is a 760-page for beginners and "power users" alike, packed with guidance and instructions for the map-making process.
Complete Collection
For a minimum of $30, the 39-item bundle includes all the following:
- Fractal Terrains 3+
- Dungeon Designer 3
- Urban Planning Software
- Cosmic Mapping System
- Perspectives 3
- Dioramas 3

Every volume from the Annual series come with this bundle, alongside a slew of other resource and asset packs that can help users design entire planets or galaxies, or focus exclusively on traditional fantasy world-building: battle maps, dungeons, cities, and continents from almost any perspective. You can even design character illustrations. For $30 as opposed to $15, the complete collection offers tremendous value, particularly for mappers who have only the annual CC3+ license and want to upgrade to lifetime. But it's obviously more advantageous for cartography beginners since it includes introductory guides to facilitate learning. The one caveat here though you can redeem the deal across platforms, the software is only usable with Windows systems.
Charitable Component
Similar to previous bundles, part of every purchase goes to benefit a nonprofit. For this one, that's Save the Children, an organization founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919 dedicated to enhancing children's welfare globally through education, health care, and emergency relief. Package customization options is toward the top of the page, though users may also choose any amount for a donation on the right side of the page. There's also an "Adjust Donation" drop-down just below that, enabling adjustment of how much of your donation goes to Humble, Profantasy, and Save the Children.
